Your Rights as a car Owner

Unfortunately, accidents can happen. But when they do, it is important to restore your vehicle to its pre-accident condition. If your vehicle cannot be driven, your first challenge is what to do with your vehicle. As a car owner you are always invited to call Highline AutoCars Assistance at (514) 592-2920. An approved roadside assistance provider will be arranged to tow your vehicle to the Highline AutoCars Collision Center. Please note that some charges may apply in these cases.

What to do in the event of an accident ??

Should an accident occur, the following information will assist you when reporting the details to the appropriate authorities, as well as when in communication with your insurance provider.

STAY CALM.
Confirm whether anyone has been injured. If there are injuries, call for emergency assistance immediately.

REPORT THE ACCIDENT IMMEDIATELY.
A police report will assist in filing an accident claim with your insurance provider.

MAKE A SKETCH OF THE ACCIDENT SITE.
A sketch of the site, illustrating the position of all vehicles and persons involved, will help when reporting details of the accident.

EXCHANGE INFORMATION.
Exchange appropriate information (e.g. name, address, phone, insurance) from all parties involved, including any witnesses.

DO NOT SIGN AN AUTHORIZATION TO TOW.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

Contact your insurance provider as soon as possible after the accident.
Your insurance provider may wish to direct you to a body shop to obtain a repair estimate. Remember that you do not have to accept this facility to repair your vehicle. Advise your insurance provider that you expect your car to be restored to its pre-accident condition at a Highline AutoCars Collision Centre.
